The Air Jordan 7 Retro SE Afrobeats iteration is a celebration of Afrobeats, also known as Afro-pop, which is the umbrella term for West African popular music and diaspora with origins in Ghana, Nigeria, and the UK between the early 2000s and 2010s. The classic AJ7 silhouette receives a tribal pattern makeover, as raised details appear on the forefoot and heel counter. The upper and overlays are adorned in a Vachetta Tan hue, which creates a strong yet versatile design to suit most wardrobes. Giving the sneakers more colour and personality are the pops of Taxi Yellow and Dark Concord in a geometric pattern across the outsole, peaking over the chunky black midsole. Stealing the show is, of course, the black and white geometric print on the padded collar and tongue, with the latter featuring the Air Jordan wordmark in red and gold.
